The Chiropractic Centre: Bristol

Chiropractor in Bristol, South West England
Chiropractor in Bristol, South West England We are Matt and Charlie, two Chiropractors, and together we opened The Chiropractic Centre: Bristol in 2012. We wanted to use our 15 years of experience, helping thousands of individuals, to recreate the unique healthcare experience in Bristol that we had developed previously in Essex. Since opening we have grown to include massage therapists, to complement the Chiropractors treatment, and Chiropractic Assistants, to welcome and care for our patients.

With our team we have a passion and enthusiastic energy to promote a lifestyle of health starting with a healthy spine. It is our intention, as Bristol Chiropractors and massage therapists, to help people get from their pain and to meeting their health goals with a renewed sense of well being.

We are practiced in helping people with conditions such as low back pain, sciatica, neck pain, headaches and migraines, muscles spasms and sports injuries. We love what we do and enjoy having whole families, from grandma to the newborn child, visit us to gain and maintain their optimal health.

Brought up in a large, loving family and having a mother starting a degree in nursing my eyes were opened to the caring profession. Following attending a Chiropractor for a recent rugby injury, I enrolled at the Welsh Institute of Chiropractic to begin my journey.

read moreI first discovered Chiropractic whilst doing work experience at Wimbledon and Oxford United Football clubs. Any players with complicated or repetitive problems would often be sent to the local chiropractor. From there, I fell in love with the profession and knew it was for me. I successfully graduated with a degree in Chiropractic from Glamorgan University in 2003 and havent looked back since.

It was through that 5 year journey which eventually lead me to massage. Originally I began my training for a very personal reason. However what I didnt realise was how much massage would change my life and in turn how much that would help change others too.

Pursuing that interest, I studied for a degree in Sport and Exercise Science. I graduated from The University of Leeds in July 2013 where I also completed a Diploma in Sports and Remedial Massage Therapy.

read moreI started my role as a CA (Chiropractic assistant) at The Chiropractic Centre: Bristol in May 2013. I didnt have much knowledge of Chiropractic but I was intrigued and ready to learn so I joined the team. One of the first moments that really opened my eyes to Chiropractic was when I went in for my new patient consultation with Matt, like any new patient Matt explained all about Chiropractic and we went through my full case history. Ive always suffered from headaches but had learnt to live with it believing it was just me.

Following completing my Geography and Anthropology degree at Oxford Brookes in June 2013, I spent several, hectic months traveling in South America, until the time seemed right to settle down somewhere.
